Razer Basilisk V4 Pro: Focus Pro 50K Gen 3 sensor, HyperScroll Tilt Wheel Gen 2 for RM699

Razer has finally announced the Basilisk V4 Pro, their latest ergonomic gaming mouse that succeeds the popular V3 Pro that is now two years old.
The Basilisk V4 Pro for the most part keeps the same ergonomic shape that gamers know and love, but pack in a number of upgrades under the hood. For starters, the Basilisk V4 Pro now comes with Razer Focus Pro 50K Optical Sensor Gen 3 sensors along with true 8,000Hz wireless polling, together with Razer Optical Mouse Switches Gen 4 that have been rated by Razer as good for up to 100 million clicks.

On top of that, the Basilisk V4 Pro now gets a new edge button on the side of the M1 key along with a third side button, giving you extra keys for added functionality and macros in-game. The Razer HyperScroll Tilt Wheel Gen 2 meanwhile offers you a free spinning scroll, a tactile notched scroll and even a ‘smart’ scroll mode that can automatically switch between free spin or tactile scrolls based on your scroll speed.

Of course, the Basilisk V4 Pro also comes with plenty of RGB lighting, with a 7-zone Razer Chroma RGB replete with full underglow for that gamer aesthetic. You’ll also find 5-way multi-device connectivity, along with up to 200 hours of battery life.

The Razer Basilisk V4 Pro is now available from the Razer Malaysia website and select retailers nationwide, priced at RM699 at time of writing.

If you wish to complete the full experience, launching alongside the Basilisk V4 Pro is the Razer Mouse Dock V2 Pro, giving you an easy way to wireless charge and dock your Basilisk V4 Pro when not in use. It too has an 8-zone Chrome RGB underglow, while an anti-slip base ensures it stays glued to your desk. The Mouse Dock V2 Pro is priced at RM299, though you can also get both the dock and the Basilisk V4 Pro bundled together for RM870 on the Razer Malaysia website.
For those who prefer something a little more accessible while still maintaining the shape of the Basilisk V4 Pro, the Basilisk V4 HyperSpeed is also coming to Malysia.

It loses out on the 50k sensor and several other nice-to-haves, but still packs a 33K sensor with 12 customisable controls, a 1,000Hz polling rate, a 4-way tilt scroll wheel with free-spin and an up to 140hours battery life. It’s also a lot cheaper than the Pro, with the Basilisk V4 HyperSpeed coming in at just RM479 on the Razer Malaysia website.
