Razer Barracuda V2 Pro: 40mm drivers and up to 70 hours of battery life, from RM969

Razer has announced the Barracuda V2 Pro, a premium wireless gaming headset designed for use across PC, mobile, consoles and handheld gaming devices. It combines 2.4GHz wireless and Bluetooth connectivity, active noise cancellation and up to 70 hours of battery life in a 285g design.

The Barracuda V2 Pro features Razer TriForce Bio-Cellulose 40mm drivers, which promise clear highs, detailed mids and deep bass. When connected to a PC, the headset also supports THX Spatial Audio+ with 7.1.4 virtual surround sound, adding overhead audio channels for a more immersive listening experience.

For wireless connectivity, Razer HyperSpeed Wireless delivers low-latency audio for gaming, while the built-in SmartSwitch button allows users to switch between 2.4GHz wireless and Bluetooth. The headset can also play audio from both connections simultaneously, letting users listen to calls, messages or music while gaming.

Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation uses external and internal microphones to reduce background distractions. Meanwhile, its dual-mode microphone system includes a detachable boom mic for gaming and voice chat, alongside built-in beamforming microphones for a more discreet setup when travelling. AI-powered noise cancellation works with both microphone configurations to improve voice clarity.

Designed for portability, the Barracuda V2 Pro features a foldable, lay-flat design, integrated wireless dongle storage, plush ear cushions and a comfortable headband for extended use. Its 70-hour battery life is intended to reduce the need for frequent charging during gaming sessions, commutes and everyday listening.

The Razer Barracuda V2 Pro is now available for purchase on the Razer Malaysia website and from select retailers nationwide, with a RM969 recommended retail price.
