Rapid KL to begin track repairs along Kelana Jaya LRT Line, selected stations to open from 9.30am

Rapid KL will begin seven phases of track repair works along the Kelana Jaya LRT Line this September, with works continuing until September 2027. On selected Sundays, affected stations will only open from 9.30am as old tracks are replaced with new ones to keep the line safe and running smoothly.
As some of the repair work will continue into the morning, the stations involved will open later than the usual 6.00am. During these periods, alternative transport arrangements will be provided to help passengers continue their journeys while waiting for normal train services to resume.
The first phase will affect Taman Melati and Gombak stations on 13, 20 and 27 September. On these mornings, trains will continue to operate as usual between Putra Heights and Wangsa Maju, while free shuttle buses will serve Wangsa Maju, Taman Melati and Gombak until train services resume at 9.30am.
