Prism+ enters refrigerator and freezer scene in Malaysia, starting from RM599
Prism+ is best known for affordable TVs and monitors, but the brand is now moving into the kitchen with a new lineup of refrigerators and freezers, ranging from large family fridges to small chest freezers for compact cooling.
Prism+ PureFresh FDR 520: Four-door fridge with antibacterial protection
The most premium model in the lineup is the PureFresh FDR 520, a 520L four-door refrigerator aimed at families who need more space for weekly groceries.
The fridge comes with a built-in Negative Ion Generator, which Prism+ claims can provide 99.99% antibacterial protection. It has also been tested against E. coli and Staphylococcus aureus bacteria in laboratory testing.
Besides that, it comes with multi-zone cooling, No Frost Technology and an inverter compressor to help maintain consistent temperatures while reducing energy usage. Other features include an external touch display, Quick Cool and Quick Freeze modes, as well as an Energy Saving Mode.
The PureFresh FDR 520 is available in Inox and Gentle Matte Black. It has a launch price of RM1,979 and RM2,079 respectively, with a 12-year compressor warranty.
Prism+ PureFresh TMF 170: Compact fridge for apartments
For smaller homes, the PureFresh TMF 170 offers a 170L capacity in a more compact body. Designed for apartments, studio units and office pantries, the fridge takes up just 0.23m² of floor space and operates at only 42dB. It also comes with a 4-Star Energy Rating, tempered glass shelves and a reversible door.
The TMF 170 has a launch price of RM599 and comes with a 10-year compressor warranty.
Prism+ FreezeMaster Series: Chest freezers for bulk storage
If you regularly stock up on frozen food, the FreezeMaster Series offers two chest freezer options: the FreezeMaster 260 and FreezeMaster 390.
Both models offer up to 100 hours of power-off protection, a 4-Star Energy Rating, built-in LED lighting, child-safe temperature dials, a hovering door design and a removable storage basket.
The FreezeMaster 260 and FreezeMaster 390 are available at RM629 and RM859 respectively, complete with a 12-year compressor warranty.

Meanwhile, the PureFresh TMF 170, FreezeMaster 260 and FreezeMaster 390 are available for pre-order via the Prism+ website, with deliveries expected from mid to end August 2026.
