New Predator Helios Neo 16 launches in Malaysia with RM6,399 starting price
Side-by-side with the launch of its refreshed Predator Helios 18 and Helios 16 line-up, Acer Malaysia has also revealed its updated Predator Helios Neo 16 models.
While the Predator Helios 18 and Helios 16 caters primarily to upmarket gamers, its Neo cousins are a little more easy on the wallet with a relatively affordable starting price.
The new line of Predator Helios Neo 16 laptops will feature up to a 14th Gen Intel Core i7 processor, paired with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 GPU. A fully spec-ed out Neo 16 will get you 16GB of DDR5 RAM that is upgradeable to 64GB; all variants however will get you 1TB of SSD storage.
The Neo 16 sports a 16″ display with WQXGA (2560x1600p) display, with varying max refresh rates depending on the model you choose.
Just like the more expensive Predator Helios 18 and Helios 16, this Neo variant comes with the full works of the Predator Cooling System, which incorporates the 5th Gen AeroBlade fan, liquid metal thermal grease, and vector heat pipes for heat management.
You’ll have the full works of I/O ports, including 2x USB Type-C with Thunderbolt 4, a HDMI 2.1 port, and a MicroSD slot.
Available immediately at Acer authorized resellers, and on the Acer eStore and official Shopee and Lazada stores, the pricing of the Predator Helios Neo 16 are as listed below:
