Having made its global debut back in July, the Nothing Phone (4b) is finally making its way to Malaysia. The midrange smartphone is now available to pre-order here, with discounts and freebies for those who do.

Nothing Phone (4b) Malaysia pricing and availability

The Nothing Phone (4b) will come in just a single configuration with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Regularly priced at RM1,599, you can pre-order it now from the Nothing Malaysia website as well as their official stores on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop, with it going on shelves from 20 September onwards at authorised retailers nationwide.

There will also be an early bird discount of RM100 from now till 20 October, bringing the price down to RM1,499. On top of that, during the same time period you’ll also get complimentary limited edition Nothing merchandise too, which includes a backpack and phone wrist strap, while stocks last.

Nothing Phone (4b) specs

Despite technically being the runt of the litter, the Phone (4b) actually has a similar design to the Phone (4a) Pro with a unibody chassis and plain back panel, rather than the transparent design of previous Nothing devices. Nevertheless, there’s still a Glyph Bar on the back, which can light up for notifications, calls, charging status and more.

As for its screen, the Nothing Phone (4b) comes with a 6.77-inch Super AMOLED display, with a 1080p resolution, an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, up to a 1000Hz touch sampling rate, a peak brightness of 2,000nits and a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio. You’ll also find a layer of Dragontail Pro glass over it for scratch resistance.

Powering the Phone (4b) meanwhile is a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 system-on-chip, with the 4nm midrange platform paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X memory and, sadly, only 128GB of UFS2.2 storage; the 256GB storage configuration appears limited to India only. It runs Android 16 out of the box, skinned with Nothing OS 4.1 over it. Nothing is also guaranteeing a minimum of 3 years of Android upgrades with 6 years of security patches.

In the camera department, the Nothing Phone (4b) comes with a dual rear camera setup, packing a main 50MP, f/1.8 camera with a 1/2.76″ image sensor, flanked by an 8MP, f/2.2 ultrawide shooter. Your selfies meanwhile get taken care of by a 16MP, f/2.4 front camera. There’s also a 5,200mAh battery keeping the lights on with support for 33W wired fast charging and 7.5W reverse wired charging.

Other features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, an Essential Key for quick access to its AI features, as well as an IP64 dust and water resistance rating.
