Nexal officially launches in Malaysia with the Nexal Pad and Earbuds, priced from RM199
Urban outdoor tech brand Nexal made its global debut back in May, with Malaysia among its first markets as it launched two smartwatches here. Now, the brand has officially launched in Malaysia, expanding its lineup with a tablet and a pair of wireless earbuds, the Nexal Pad and the Nexal Earbuds.
Nexal Pad
Leading the lineup is the Nexal Pad, an 11-inch tablet with a 2.5K IPS display, a refresh rate of up to 90Hz and peak brightness of 500 nits. It supports both Wi-Fi and LTE connectivity, with dual-SIM support for mobile data when Wi-Fi isn’t available.
The tablet packs a 10,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. Under the hood, it is powered by a MediaTek Helio G200 system-on-chip paired with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, which can be expanded by up to 1TB via a microSD card. As for the cameras, the Nexal Pad features a 13MP rear camera with an LED flash and an 8MP front-facing camera for video calls.
On the software front, the tablet comes with a suite of AI productivity tools including meeting summaries, speech-to-text, mind mapping and translation, with a six-month complimentary membership included upon activation. A keyboard is also bundled in the box, letting you use the tablet more like a laptop, while split-screen multitasking lets you run two apps side by side.
The Nexal Pad is priced at RM1,099 and comes in Obsidian Grey and Aurora Green. Buyers can also enjoy benefits worth up to RM359, including the Nexal Keyboard worth RM299 and a six-month membership for the AI productivity tools worth RM60.
Nexal Earbuds
The Nexal Earbuds meanwhile focus on call quality, using bone vibration to pick out your voice from surrounding noise. They also feature a three-mic hybrid noise reduction system with ANC, along with a VPU (voice pickup unit) to keep your voice clear in noisy places like cafes or on public transport.
For audio, the earbuds use a 13mm dynamic driver with a graphene composite diaphragm. Battery life is rated at up to 26 hours with the charging case, and the earbuds support Bluetooth 6.0. Other features of note include a Transparency Mode and in-ear detection, which automatically plays or pauses your audio when you put the earbuds in or take them out.
The Nexal Earbuds are priced at RM199 and come in Midnight Black and Glacier White.
Nexal Pad and Nexal Earbuds availability
Both the Nexal Pad and Nexal Earbuds are available from today, 13 October, via Nexal’s official stores on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop, as well as selected authorised retail stores. The Nexal Watch and Nexal Watch Sport, priced at RM399 and RM599 respectively, remain available through the same channels.
