Meta introduces Meta One subscription for Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp
Meta is putting a price tag on some of its extras. The company has rolled out Meta One, a single subscription service that spans Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and its Meta AI assistant, bundling paid perks across the apps most of us already use every day.
Before anyone panics, the important part is that the apps themselves stay free. Meta says the core experience across its platforms and Meta AI isn’t changing, with a subscription only unlocking extra features and more AI usage on top. Meta One offers separate plans for individual apps, bundle plans for regular users, and more advanced plans for creators and businesses.

Individual apps:
- WhatsApp Plus: $2.99/month
- Instagram Plus: $3.99/month
- Facebook Plus: $3.99/month

- Premium: $19.99/month

For everyday users, the individual plans are really about self-expression and AI. Meta says the AI features are a big draw, noting that tools like Restyle and voice effects on Instagram were among the top reasons people signed up during early testing.
Creators and businesses get the more serious kit. Their plans fold in tools for managing a presence across the apps without juggling separate accounts, from scheduling Stories up to 30 days ahead and adding links to posts and reels, to letting team members in without sharing passwords and using Meta’s AI Business Agent to reply to customers around the clock.
With Meta One, Meta is joining platforms like X and Snapchat in offering additional features through a paid subscription, while keeping its main apps free to use. However, Meta notes that plans, features, prices and availability may vary depending on the country, app and account.
