Lazy to do the dishes? Let the LG QuadWash Freestanding Dishwasher do it for you

By Raymond Saw October 5, 2026

If you’re tired after a long day at work and feeling lazy to deal with a sink full of dirty dishes, LG’s QuadWash Freestanding Dishwasher is designed for you. This sleek and stylish dishwasher can fit up to 14 place settings, making it suitable for larger households or anyone who simply wants to spend less time at the sink.

Its main attraction is LG’s QuadWash system, which uses multi-directional spray arms to clean dishes from different angles. It also supports Dual Zone Wash, allowing different water pressure levels for the upper and lower racks, so more delicate glassware can be washed alongside dirtier pots and pans.

On top of that there’s the TrueSteam feature too, which uses steam to help loosen the bits of food that’s stuck on your plates. LG claims it can reduce water spots by up to 30% compared with its non-steam models, based on the company’s own internal testing.

Loading the dishwasher is made easier with an adjustable upper rack and a third rack for cutlery and longer utensils. The dishwasher also comes with Auto Open Dry, which automatically opens the door after a cycle to help dry the dishes.

The LG QuadWash Freestanding Dishwasher measures 600 x 850 x 600mm and comes in a matte black finish which makes it easy to blend in with any modern household look. On top of the door meanwhile is an easy to use control panel that lets you control everything about the dishwasher while being able to see how much time is left in the wash cycle with just one glance.

For the smart home crowd, the dishwasher works with the LG ThinQ app over Wi-Fi too. You can monitor the wash cycle, receive notifications when it’s done and download additional wash cycles through the app on your smartphone.

That’s why if you’re lazy like me, the LG QuadWash Freestanding Dishwasher might just be the ideal upgrade for your kitchen. It’s not just about getting an extra machine home or making your house ‘smart’, but more of automating one of those household chores you’d just rather not care about.
