Huawei has officially expanded its wearable ecosystem in Malaysia with the launch of three new lifestyle devices. This latest rollout introduces a redesigned square smartwatch lineup alongside a high luxury designer timepiece and an open ear audio option.
The strategic expansion aims to deliver a balance of premium craftsmanship and highly advanced health tracking features optimized for modern Malaysian lifestyles.
The primary highlight is the debut of the Huawei Watch Fit 5 Series which arrives in standard and Pro variants. The standard model features a vibrant 1.82 inch display while the Pro edition expands the viewing real estate to a 1.92 inch screen with ultra slim bezels and a peak brightness of 3000 nits for seamless outdoor legibility.
Built for durability, the Pro version utilizes aerospace grade titanium alloy bezels combined with 2.5D sapphire glass.
On the wellness front, the premium smartwatch introduces the first non invasive diabetes risk study available on a wearable in Malaysia. This function analyzes vascular signals over time to provide early health indicators, supplementing a suite that includes electrocardiogram readings, pulse wave arrhythmia analysis, and comprehensive fitness tracking for racket sports, diving, and golf navigation.
Catering to the luxury market, Huawei has also introduced a unique spring edition timepiece created in collaboration with world renowned jewelry designer Francesca Amfitheatrof.
Retailing at an ultra premium official price of RM17,999, the watch is adorned with 99 natural diamonds laid across mathematical Fibonacci curves and protected by diamond cut sapphire glass. This luxury edition transitions effortlessly from executive boardrooms to formal evening gatherings.
Completing the launch is the next generation open ear wireless earbuds presented in an expressive berry purple finish, featuring a lightweight structural bridge design that ensures ergonomic comfort during physical training or daily commutes without blocking ambient awareness.
In terms of local pricing, the standard Huawei Watch Fit 5 is officially priced at RM799 but early buyers can grab it for just RM649 after applying the launch discount voucher.
Meanwhile, the feature packed Huawei Watch Fit 5 Pro is retailing at an official price of RM1099 with a promotional voucher bringing the eventual price down to RM999.
