HONOR X7b will be available in Malaysia starting 25th April; Priced at RM899
The HONOR X7b 5G – a 5G iteration of the existing X7b model released last year – will be available in Malaysia from 25th April onwards.
Priced at RM899, the X7b 5G will come in a single 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. It will be up for purchase on the HONOR Malaysia website, as well as on HONOR official stores on Shopee and Lazada. Alternatively, you can get them off the shelf at HONOR retail partners such as Senheng, Harvey Norman, and Urban Republic, to name a few.
The X7b 5G doesn’t stray too far from its 4G sibling. It still sports a 6.8″ Full HD+ (1080p) display offering 90Hz refresh rates and 850nits peak brightness. From a design standpoint, they are pretty much the same, except that the 5G model has a reflective textured material around the camera lenses.
What’s different is that HONOR has opted for the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 for the X7b 5G, a switch from the Snapdragon 680 found on the non 5G model.
For cameras, the X7b 5G maintains its 108MP main camera, flanked by a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth camera. At the front is an 8MP selfie camera in punch hole format.
There’s still the massive 6,000mAh battery keeping the device running, supporting 35W wired charging.
Other noteworthy mentions is its dual stereo speakers with maximum volume, and support for Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1.
The HONOR X7b is available in Crystal Silver and Emerald Green.
