Honor Pad X8b: Snapdragon 680 tablet with 11-inch screen and LTE support, from RM799
Alongside the Honor 600 series, the Chinese manufactuerer also launched their new budget-focused tablet dubbed the Honor Pad X8b LTE. Positioned as a simple and versatile tablet at an accessible starting price, like its name alludes to comes with support for 4G connectivity via a SIM card.

The Honor Pad X8b is now available for purchase in Malaysia via all Honor Experience stores nationwide, the Honor Malaysia online store, as well as their official stores on Shopee and Lazada.

On top of that, you’ll also be able to get a free flip cover worth RM159 with the 128GB model, or a smart Bluetooth Keyboard worth RM399 with the 256GB tablet, while stocks last.
Honor Pad X8b specs
The Honor Pad X8b is a simple, no frills tablet packing an 11-inch IPS LCD display in a 16:10 aspect ratio, pushing an FHD+ 1200p resolution capable of a 90Hz refresh rate, up to 500nits of brightness and a 1500:1 contrast ratio.
Under the hood, the Honor Pad X8b is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 system-on-chip, mated to up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. It comes with Android 16 out of the box, skinned with MagicOS10 over it. There’s also support for expandable storage of up to 2TB if you need more space.
For photos and video calls, you’ll find a 5MP, f/2.0 rear camera and a 5MP, f/2.0 front camera on the tablet. Keeping the lights on meanwhile is a 10,100mAh battery that Honor claims is good for up to 97 days of standby and up to 22 hours of online video streaming.
Other features of note include a quad-speaker Honor Sound setup, an Honor Kids mode for parents who want to pass it onto a child, along with support for 4G, WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0 wireless connectivity.
