Heritage Motor Exchange Asia 2026: Asia’s First Transparent Classic Car Marketplace Hits WTC KL

By PriceShop News October 25, 2026

AFFIN Group has partnered with Heritage Motor Exchange Asia to host Asia’s first data-driven collector car marketplace from 23 to 25 October 2026 at Merdeka Hall, World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur.

Featuring up to 50 classic and performance vehicles, the event aims to bring structured pricing transparency to Southeast Asia’s collector car ecosystem.

Unlike traditional motor shows, the event introduces a 100-Point Concours Judging System where independent judges evaluate vehicles on physical condition and component authenticity. Scores are cross-referenced with historical transaction data to establish certified fair-trade value ranges, which will be displayed directly on the windscreens of participating vehicles.

Key highlights across the three-day event include:

  • Concours de Vente & Concours d’Elegance: Live vehicle grading alongside showcases celebrating automotive history, restoration, and craftsmanship.
  • Private Consignment Paddock: A dedicated commercial marketplace for trading verified vehicles on consignment.
  • Back From the Future: An interactive AI segment featuring Mornine of AiMOGA, an intelligent humanoid robot acting as an on-site presenter.
  • Historic Motorsport: A display of iconic race and rally cars dating back to the 1970s.
  • On-Site Official Support: Representatives from JPJ and PUSPAKOM will be on-site to facilitate roadworthiness inspections, ownership transfers, road tax issuance, and insurance processing.
  • Special cars showcase: Showcase of F1 edition of Proton Satria Neo R3 and Proton Wira driven by Michael Schumacher by Dream Street Restoration (DSR).
  • Meet & Greet: Meet Malaysia’s most decorated Rally champion and driver Karamjit Singh on Sunday 25 Oct 3-5pm.

Editorial Thoughts

During our visit, what made it impressive is the the effort to solve pricing opacity in the classic car market. For everyday Malaysian enthusiasts, buying a vintage car often feels risky due to unknown vehicle histories and arbitrary price tags, this having independent valuation certificates and on-site JPJ and PUSPAKOM support simplifies the buying process significantly.

Classic car owners were also sharing some of their repair and restoration experiences which gave us huge insights on how much car lovers love their cars! Definitely not an event to be missed by fellow car lovers!
