Famed printer company Xerox returns to Malaysia with four new A4 colour printers

If you’re of a certain age, the brand Xerox might bring back memories of beige computers and white cubicles. They went away for awhile after they split from Fujifilm, but the famed American printer and document company is now back in Malaysia.
Following their acquisition of fellow printer company Lexmark, Xerox has officially reentered the Malaysian market with four new printer models: the Xerox C240 colour printer and the Xerox C245, C303a and C305ae colour multifunction printers.
The C240 is the most basic of the bunch, offering colour printing at up to 25/26ppm with a recommended monthly print volume of up to 2,500 pages, while the C245 adds flatbed scanning and copying features. The Xerox C303a meanwhile builds on that with fax functionality too, and up to 30/32ppm and up to 5,000 pages of printing every month.
The C305ae is the top of the bunch, packing a larger 4.3-inch colour touchscreen compared to the other models’s 2.8-inch touchscreen, and has an integrated OCR too for converting scans into searchable files.
“Malaysia is an important market for Xerox and our re-entry through the integration with Lexmark is a significant milestone.
It combines the strength and heritage of Xerox with Lexmark’s established local presence and channel relationships, giving us a stronger platform to serve customers, enable our partners and build sustainable growth in Malaysia,” – Keith Leong, Xerox Regional Sales Director
Xerox Malaysia states that for those interested in getting one of these new printers, perhaps for your home office or business, you can get in touch with them or their authorised channel partners for availability over on the Xerox Malaysia website.
