Epson’s New EcoTank Printers Just Dropped – Here’s Why Office Users Will Want One
Epson has rolled out a new generation of All-in-One Ink Tank printers in Malaysia with the launch of the L4360, L6370, and L6390 models. These devices are positioned as successors to the L4260, L6270, and L6290 respectively, and come with updated hardware and features for both home and small office use.
The standout upgrade across the series is Epson’s Heat-Free Technology, which eliminates the need for heat during ink ejection. This not only helps reduce energy consumption but also supports quicker first-page-out times. A new status light feature has also been added across the board, offering users real-time feedback on the printer’s operations.
In terms of design, all three printers now sport a refreshed two-tone look, aiming for a more seamless fit into modern office or home setups. Each printer also comes with a replaceable maintenance box (MTB), which users can change themselves—reducing downtime without needing a service centre visit.
Performance-wise, the entry-level L4360 delivers monochrome print speeds of up to 15 images per minute (ipm) and 8 ipm for colour. This marks a 43% speed improvement over the previous L4260. For the more advanced L6370 and L6390 models, speeds go up to 18 ipm for black-and-white and 9 ipm for colour prints, showing a 16% improvement over their predecessors.
Both the L6370 and L6390 come with added convenience features such as auto duplex scanning and copying, and can scan up to 30 sheets of A4-sized paper in half the time required to handle double-sided documents.
Epson also claims higher durability for this new line-up, with the L4360 rated for up to 50,000 prints, and the L6370 and L6390 rated up to 100,000 prints.
