Dyson HushJet Mini Cool portable fan now in Malaysia, priced at RM499

Back in April, Dyson surprised everyone by entering a new product category: the portable fan. The Dyson HushJet Mini Cool as it’s known is the company’s first ever portable handheld fan, and is now finally available in Malaysia.

The Dyson HushJet Mini Cool is powered by the company’s new HushJet air projection system, which is capable of delivering airflow speeds of up to 25m/s. Inside is a brushless DC motor that spins at up to 65,000 RPM, while users can choose from five airflow settings or switch to a dedicated Boost mode for maximum cooling. According to Dyson, the focused airflow design enables rapid cooling without the need for a bulky fan housing.

Dyson continues to use its 38mm diameter format here, previously seen in devices such as the Dyson Supersonic and Dyson PencilVac, allowing the company to miniaturise internal components while maintaining performance. Dyson also claims the HushJet nozzle is designed to reduce turbulence and minimise high-frequency noise. The fan operates at around 52 dBA on its lowest setting, rising to 72.5 dBA when Boost mode is enabled.

The HushJet Mini Cool is designed to be versatile, able to be used on the go or placed on the included charging stand for desktop use. It comes with a lanyard, charging stand, USB-C charging cable and a travel pouch too.

The Dyson HushJet Mini Cool fan is now available for purchase from the Dyson Malaysia website as well as their stores nationwide, priced at RM499.
