Coway launches new refrigerators in Malaysia, up to 715L in size, from RM79/month
Coway has launched a pair of new refrigerators in Malaysia, marking their entry into the food care scene. Dubbed the Coway Multi-Door Refrigerator 551L and the Coway Side-by-Side refrigerator 715L, they offer large volumes and plenty of features, with a relatively low monthly subscription fee.
Starting off with the Coway Multi-Door Refrigerator 551L, this is a French door fridge that, like its name suggests, offers 551L of gross capacity. The four doors open up to showcase multiple compartments, and you can actually switch one of the bottom freezers between fridge mode or freezer mode to best fit your needs, be it long term storage of frozen food or keeping chilling your drinks to be icy cool.
Coway claims that the Multi-Door Refrigerator offers efficient cooling too, thanks to its triple inverter system, metal cooling walls and dual fans.
As for the Coway Side-by-Side Refrigerator 715L, this two-door fridge is the larger of the two, with plenty of organisational compartments across the fridge zone on the right and the freezer on the left.
The humidity control feature meanwhile ensures you can have the ideal environment in your fridge depending on what you have in there. It comes with a dual inverter system, and has independent temperature settings too for both fridge and freezer.
Both refrigerators also feature silver ion technology to eliminate up to 99.99% of bacteria and to remove odour, on top of a deodoriser filter to keep frozen foods fresh. They’ll both come with a twist-style ice cube tray and egg tray included too.
Coway Malaysia refrigerators rental and pricing
As for pricing, the Coway Multi-Door Refrigerator 551L starts from RM94/month for a 7-year self-service contract, from RM99/month for their 7-year Heart Service contract and if you wish to buy it outright, you can do so for RM6,799.
Meanwhile, the Coway Side-by-Side Refrigerator 715L starts at RM79/month on a 7-year self-service contract, from RM84/month for a 7-year Heart Service contract and RM5,899 for an outright purchase.
