CelcomDigi Mega Gega 20 Juta Live sets not one, but two new Guinness World Records

CelcomDigi recently announced their Mega Gegar 20 Juta campaign, and on top of giving away rewards worth over RM20 million to their users, the telco also embarked on 42-hour promotional livestream from midnight 31 July till 6PM, 1 August. As it turns out, that livestream has snagged not just one but two new Guinness World Records.
The 42-hour livestream, broadcasted on TikTok and YouTube, managed to earn the Guinness World Record for the Longest Promotional Advertisement Livestream, while its inclusion of 29 frontliners from 20 CelcomDigi stores nationwide also means that it earned the Guinness World Record for the Most Stores Participating in a Promotional Advertisement Livestream.

As a refresher on the CelcomDigi Mega Gegar 20 Juta campaign, it’s already running till 30 September is part of the telco’s way to celebrate over 20 million customers in Malaysia. Part of the 20 grand prizes and 70,000 bonus prizes include Samsung smartphones, holiday trips, a home makeover by The Makeover Guys and even a Proton e.Mas 7.
Both new and existing CelcomDigi customers can take part in the Mega Gegar 20 Juta campaign, simply by doing one of the following:
- Sign up for or upgrade to a CelcomDigi Prepaid monthly pass from RM30
- Subscribe to CelcomDigi Postpaid, CelcomDigi One or Home Fibre plans from RM50
- Purchase a device under Easy360 or Pakej MegaJimat
- Subscribe to Mega Addons or Freedom Addons
- Subscribe to entertainment, digital security, internet addons or roaming services from RM20
