BEST Express Malaysia, one of the country’s largest logistics service provider, has spotlighted the role of its Johor Bahru Hub (JHB Hub) as one of its key logistics centres supporting parcel deliveries across Southern Malaysia.

Located in Johor Bahru, the hub acts as a major distribution point handling a wide range of shipments. They cover everything from eCommerce parcels to branded consignments and even cargo deliveries. With online shopping continuing to grow, BEST Express says that facilities like the JHB Hub play a critical role in keeping deliveries moving efficiently between businesses and customers.

According to the logistics company, the JHB Hub supports daily operations by managing incoming and outgoing shipments across the region. The hub, which is the second largest distribution center in southern Malaysia, ensures parcels are sorted, processed, and routed efficiently to support reliable last-mile delivery.

One example highlighted is Kitna, an Operation Support Assistant at the JHB Hub. Her responsibilities include coordinating workflows between warehouse and office teams, helping to ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly.

According to BEST Express Malaysia, roles like hers reflect the collaborative and fast-paced nature of logistics work, where clear communication and coordination are necessary to keep parcels moving without delays. While automated systems and logistics technology play an important role, the company notes that operations still rely heavily on teamwork.

BEST Express adds that it continues to invest in both its operational capabilities and its workforce to keep up with Malaysia’s expanding logistics needs.
