Asus upgrades Perfect Warranty policy, introduces new ProCare priority servicing
Asus has today announced a couple of new upgrades coming to its customer ownership experience, as part of its commitment towards improving its quality and service in Malaysia.
One key part of this initiative is its new Asus ProCare premium value-added service. ProCare will cover all new ProArt, Zenbook, Vivobook S and ROG laptops launched after 28 July, and offers exclusive benefits such as priority servicing with a dedicated lane at authorised Asus Service Centers.
That’s on top of an Unlimited 360 Cleaning and Maintenance service, a 10-step process that will ensure your devices keep performing at peak performance:
- External hardware inspection and diagnostics
- Internal hardware inspection and diagnostics
- Internal cleaning
- Thermal paste reapplication
- Exterior cleaning
- Cooling system optimisation
- System health check and recovery
- Post-maintenance inspection and diagnostics
- System performance and stability check
- Battery health assessment
Of course, Asus believes you shouldn’t have to go to a service center that often in the first place. According to the Taiwanese giant, all of their laptops undergo up to 34 rigorous durability tests to simulate extreme environmental conditions, impacts and wear-and-tear. These tests include drop tests, extreme temperature tests, water spill tests, pressure tests and vibration tests.
As for its standard warranty, Asus is also upgrading its policy to a 2-year International Warranty and a 2-year Asus Perfect Warranty (up from 1-year) covering local accidental damage protection for added peace of mind. This will cover all Asus and ROG laptops launched after 28 July.
Lastly, Asus Malaysia now also has over 1,000 service points across the country, with coverage spanning over 90 countries and regions globally too. Those who need to can simply drop off their laptops at any authorised Asus Service Center or eligible Pos Malaysia branch.
