ASUS Malaysia launches all-new ASUS Gaming laptop series with two 16” models
ASUS Malaysia has officially launched its new ASUS Gaming Series, a laptop line aimed at users seeking a balance between performance and portability. The series is tailored not only for gaming but also for creative and productivity tasks. Two 16-inch models are being introduced at launch — the ASUS Gaming V16 and ASUS Gaming K16.
Each laptop in the series comes bundled with a 3-month PC Game Pass subscription, giving users access to a wide library of games. In addition, every unit includes a full version of Office Home 2024.
The ASUS Gaming V16 is equipped with the Intel Core 5 processor 210H and features an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU. It comes with 16GB of DDR5 RAM and 512GB of SSD storage. The 16-inch display has a Full HD+ resolution of 1920×1200 and supports a 144Hz refresh rate.
Weighing 1.95kg, the V16 includes a 63Wh battery and is fitted with a 1080p Full HD webcam. Connectivity is handled by WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3.
For I/O ports, the Gaming V16 includes a USB 3.2 Type-C port (supporting DisplayPort and Power Delivery 3.0), two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, and an HDMI 2.1 output.
Positioned slightly below the V16, the ASUS Gaming K16 runs on an Intel Core i5-13420H and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU. It includes 16GB DDR4 RAM and a 512GB SSD. The 16-inch FHD+ display also supports a 144Hz refresh rate, similar to the V16.
At 1.8kg, the K16 is slightly lighter and uses a smaller 50Wh battery. It includes a 720p HD camera and has additional connectivity options such as a built-in SD 4.0 card reader. In terms of I/O ports, it has a similar make-up to the V16, which includes one USB 3.2 Type-C (power delivery), two USB 3.2 Type-A, and a HDMI 2.1. WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 are also supported.
ASUS Gaming Series price in Malaysia
Both the ASUS Gaming V16 and ASUS Gaming K16 will be available in Malaysia starting 25 April 2025. The ASUS Gaming V16 is priced at RM3,999, while the ASUS Gaming K16 is priced at RM3,499. Both models will be sold through all authorized ASUS retailers nationwide.
