Apple introduces all new iPad Pro with M4 chip
Apple’s ‘Let Loose’ event saw a slew of new iPad models come to the fore, among which was the all new iPad Pro. The new iPad Pro carries bragging rights as ‘the thinnest Apple product ever’, coming in at a sleek 5.1mm; and the first Apple product to debut the M4 chip.
The new M4 chip, according to Apple, is more power efficient and is able to deliver all-day battery life. At its best, you can expect 4x faster pro rendering performance and 1.5x CPU performance than the M2 chip.
There are two sizes available, an 11-inch model and a 13-inch model, with the choice of either Space Black or Silver. The official pricing in Malaysia has already been unveiled, however, it is not available for purchase just yet. It will be soon enough, but for now, here’s how much you’re going to have to fork out if you plan on getting one.

Alongside the iPad Pro, Apple has also introduced the Pencil Pro. The new stylus supports new gestures, such as Squeeze to bring up the tool palette, and double tap to switch between tools. The Apple Pencil Pro isn’t included in the box though, and will cost you an additional RM599.
Then there’s the new Magic Keyboard, which now has an added 14-key function row to access features like screen brightness and volume controls. The glass trackpad – now a tad bit larger than before – also supports haptic feedback. Again, the Magic Keyboard isn’t included in the box, and will cost extra depending on your iPad Pro model. The Magic Keyboard compatible with the 11-inch iPad Pro will set you back RM1,479, while the 13-inch compatible model is priced higher at RM1,699.
