Apple fans created a Macbook app that give you an Apple Duo folding animation experience

Apple fans around the world took inspiration from the Apple iPhone Duo folding animation and created versions for macOS after the 9 September 2026 keynote.

Fans took to X to promote their apps, with some people charging US$4.99 (~RM20) for it.

Some apps allow you to change settings such as the blur, angles and also control it from the menu bar after a quick installation.

So while the world awaits for the iPhone Duo, you can experience the Duo’s folding experience on a Macbook with friendly apps such as Open Bendy.
