Anker Soundcore AeroClip 2: Six-sensor voice pickup and up to 32 hours of battery life, priced at RM729
Anker has launched the Soundcore AeroClip 2 in Malaysia, the successor to its clip-on open-ear AeroClip earbuds. This time around, the biggest upgrade is to call quality, an area where open-ear earbuds have typically fallen short.
The AeroClip 2 comes with a six-sensor voice pickup system, made up of four MEMS microphones and two voice pickup units that detect the vibrations of your vocal cords. Both are processed by the THUS AI chip, which separates your voice from the surrounding noise, while a Whisper Mode keeps your voice clear on calls even with background noise above 80dB.
For audio, it packs a 12mm dual-magnetic driver with a metal and polymer diaphragm, delivering twice the low-frequency sound pressure energy of the original AeroClip. It supports the LDAC codec with Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification, along with HearID 5.0, which tunes the EQ to your hearing based on an in-app hearing test.
The earbuds use a Golden-Fit titanium wire inside a silicone C-bridge that follows the curve of the ear, and carry an IP57 dust and water resistance rating. Battery life is rated at up to 8 hours per charge, or up to 32 hours with the charging case, while a 10-minute quick charge gives you up to four hours of playback. Other features of note include a wireless charging case and a Phone-Free Mode for playing locally stored music without connecting to your phone.
If the Midnight Black, Burgundy Red, Cloud White and Mist Blue colourways look a little familiar, that’s because they’ve been made to match the iPhone 18 lineup, so you can colour-coordinate your earbuds with your new phone. Fittingly, the AeroClip 2 is also MFi (Made for iPhone) certified, so it’s built to play nice with Apple devices too.
