Acer Unveils Lineup of New Laptops, Including Upgraded Acer Swift 14 and Acer Swift Go

Acer Malaysia today revealed a catalogue of new laptops set to be available to Malaysians very soon. The lineup consist of a host of expansions and upgrades across their existing series.

They include two new members to the Swift series; the Acer Swift 14 and the Acer Swift Go. The former caters to on-the-go professionals, while the latter will appeal towards the fast-paced and versatile lifestyles of young adults.

The Acer Swift 14 and Acer Swift Go will be available by the end of April 2023. You may make your purchase online at Acer eStore, or on Acer’s official stores on Shopee and Lazada.

Both laptops features an air inlet to increase airflow and optimize cooling. They also come with FHD webcam with temporal noise reduction (TNR) for crystal clear video conferences.

The Acer Swift 14 comes in at a lightweight 1.2kg despite it boasting a sleek aerospace-grade aluminium chassis. For processors, you’ll have the choice between the 13th Gen Intel Core i7 or the Intel Core i5; with Intel Iris Xe running the graphics.

You’ll get up to 1TB of storage and 16GB of onboard LPDDR5 RAM, with a lengthy battery life of up to 10 hours. Expect a visual feast on its 14-inch WQXGA (2560×1600) IPS display, protected with scratch resistant Antimicrobial Corning Gorilla Glass.

Acer also introduced the Acer Swift Go, which inherits much of the design language of the Acer Swift 14. However, with the Acer Swift Go, you’ll have the choice between the AMD Ryzen 7 7730U or the AMD Ryzen 5 7530U. It comes in slightly heavier at 1.25kg, but it is still lightweight and portable.

Storage is 512GB across all variants, with the choice of either 16GB or 8GB LPDDR4X RAM.

The Acer Swift Go is fitted with a 14-inch FHD IPS display, framed within ultra-slim 4.15mm side bezels. You’ll get up to 13 hours of battery life, and two choice of colours: Pure Silver and Prodigy Pink.
