Acer to unveil 57″ Predator Z57 curved monitor with 8K resolution at CES 2024
Acer will unveil a fresh new lineup for its tech catalogue in conjunction with the upcoming Consumer Electronic Show 2024 (CES 2024). Among a slew of products spanning new Aspire Vero 16 laptops, Swift Go laptops, and an intriguing Predator Mesh Router, Acer will also introduce its flagship gaming monitor – the Predator Z57.
The Predator Z57 is a 57″ curved gaming monitor packing dual UHD (DUHD) resolution (7680x2160px) and 120 Hz refresh rates. It’s 32:9 screen bends to a 1000R curvature, and brightness reaches up to 1000nits. The displays have received VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification, as well as covering DCI-P3 98% colour gamut.
The monitor itself comes with 2x 10W built-in speakers. It has a range of I/O ports, including 2x HDMI 2.1 and 1x DisplayPort 1.4
The Predator Z57 comes with a base which allows you to adjust the monitor’s height, tilt, and swivel angles to match your viewing preference.
There has yet to be any official news about the Predator Z57’s official pricing in Malaysia. To get a ballpark figure, the Predator Z57 will be released at a starting price of USD2,499.99, which would amount to RM11,621.20 in Malaysia. For now though, we’ll just have to stay tuned to upcoming updates from Acer Malaysia.
