Acer refreshes TravelMate series with Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, from RM5,499

Having already launched a slew of consumer-focused laptops and PCs, Acer has now also announced the arrival of their new TravelMate lineup in Malaysia. These business laptops are now powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, along with enterprise-grade tools and security.

There are three refreshed laptops in particular, the TravelMate P4 Spin, the TravelMate P2 14 and the TravelMate P2 16. The latter two are essentially the same laptop in different sizes, with 14-inch and 16-inch IPS LED panels pushing a WUXGA 1920 x 1200p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The TravelMate P4 Spin meanwhile gets a WQXGA+ 2880 x 1800p, 120Hz display that can be rotated 360° to be converted into a tablet.

Under the hood, the TravelMate P4 Spin gets an Intel Core Ultra 7 356H processor with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD, while the pair of TravelMate P2 laptops gets an Intel Core Ultra 5 322 processor instead. All three laptops come with Windows 11 Pro out of the box, and feature security features like SSD password protection, TPM 2.0 and optional chassis intrusion alarm. You’ll also get enterprise tools like Acer Commercial BIOS and Acer Office Manager, along with Acer PurifiedVoice and PurifiedView.

As part of the launch, the TravelMate series will come with promotional pricing from now till the end of April, while stocks last. The TravelMate P4 Spin is down to just RM6,999, while the TravelMate P2 16 and P2 14 are priced at just RM5,699 and RM5,499 respectively.
