Acer Predator X27U W2: 26.5″ QD-OLED gaming monitor with 240Hz refresh rate for RM1,799

Alongside their CA1 series of smart monitors, Acer have also released a brand new gaming monitor in Malaysia. Dubbed the Predator X27U W2, this gaming monitor packs a QD-OLED panel with a high refresh rate.

The Predator X27U W2 is priced at RM1,799 and is already available for purchase from all authorized Acer retailers as well as the Acer Malaysia eStore.

As part of their launch promotion, those who snag one of these monitors for yourselves before 30 September will also get a free Acer PM161QJ2 portable monitor worth RM299 for free while stocks last.

Predator X27U W2 specs

The Predator X27U W2 features a 26.5-inch QD-OLED panel pushing a WQHD (2560 x 1440) resolution, and is capable of a 240Hz refresh rate too. It also offers a 0.03ms grey-to-grey response time with 99% coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut, though it supposedly has a regular brightness of 200nits, which we can’t confirm but does appear too low for QD-OLED.

On top of that, the monitor also comes with AMD FreeSync Premium and Nvidia G-Sync Compatible technology along with a pair of 4W speakers for built-in audio. As for I/O, you’ll find a pair of HDMI 2.1 and a single DisplayPort inputs as well as audio out ports.

The Predator X27U W2 comes with an ergonomic stand too, allowing for tilt, swivel, pivot and height adjustments so that gamers can easily customise their display position for a comfortable gaming setup.
