You can now create custom stickers on WhatsApp web

It is now possible to create your very own custom WhatsApp stickers directly from your WhatsApp Web without the need of any third party applications or software.

Currently, this feature is only available WhatsApp Web but it is also expected to be rolled out on WhatsApp Desktop in the coming weeks.

How to Create Custom Stickers

1. Sign on to WhatsApp Web

2. Select any chat

3. On the chat, select the ☺ emoji icon

4. Next, select the sticker option

5. Lastly, select create

6. Upon clicking create, you’ll be given the option to upload an image. There’s also a simple interface where you’ll be able to add additional stickers as well as crop or rotate the image to your liking. Once satisfied, simply press send.

7. Once you’ve sent the sticker, you can add it to favourites by tapping on the sticker. (Can only be done on WhatsApp Mobile)

There you have it! Go try it out and have some fun with it. Unfortunately users are currently limited to creating static stickers. Hopefully future updates will allow for stickers in .gif format.
