By Timothy Teoh November 03, 2023

The Infinix ZERO 30 5G has officially launched in Malaysia at a price of RM1,299. It is available starting immediately on Infinix’s official TikTok shop, and offline at authorized dealers.

The main highlight of the ZERO 30 5G is its video recording capabilities. The front camera itself is able to capture videos in 4K Ultra HD at 60fps suitable for vlogging. It also has dual camera recording, which records from both the rear and front camera simultaneously for two-way point-of-views.

For photos, the 50MP front cameras are helped by two LED flash units – which Infinix calls a Dual Micro-slit Flash system – to improve low-light photography.

At the rear is a tri-camera setup consisting of a 108MP main camera with a 1/1.67″ sensor supported by both Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS). This is flanked by a 13MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP portrait sensor.

The ZERO 30 5G utilizes a MediaTek Dimensity 8020 processor, with a single configuration of 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. You have the option of piling on 9GB virtual RAM to boost total RAM space to 21GB.

The device sports a 6.78″ AMOLED curved display, with 144Hz refresh rates and up to 950nits peak brightness, all protected under a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass.

The phone as a whole is IP53 water and dust resistance.

The ZERO 30 5G packs a 5,000mAh battery with 68W fast charging. For colours, you’ll have the choice of Golden Hour, Rome Green, and Fantasy Purple.
