Xiaomi Smart Band 9 launches for only RM199; Get it for only RM159 if purchased by 18 August
Xiaomi kickstarts its Smart Living Showcase 2024 by introducing a range of new smart AIoT products in Malaysia. Among them is their latest wearable, the Smart Band 9.
According to Xiaomi, the Smart Band 9’s heart rate monitoring has improved by 16% compared to its predecessor. This is accompanied by all-day SpO2 tracking, stress tracking, as well as sleep tracking, all of which contribute to an overall Vitality Score that gives you a general assessment of wellness.
On that note, sleep tracking now takes into account sleep schedule, sleep continuity, as well as naps to better gauge your snoozing habits. You’ll get personalized recommendations based on this, with the goal of enhancing sleep quality.
The Smart Band 9 will provide you a brief rundown of your health metrics on its 1.62″ AMOLED display, but to access further insights, you’ll need to sync the band with the Mi Fitness app.
Xiaomi says the smart band will be able to last up to 21 days of continuous usage, although this will depend on how heavy your usage is. Either way, it’s kept running with a 233mAh battery.
There are 150 sports modes in total, with special focus on running and cycling, which feature VO2 max and recovery time monitoring.
The Xiaomi Smart Band 9 comes in Glacier Silver, Midnight Black, Arctic Blue, and Mystic Rose, all paired with a TPU strap included in the box. There will be additional choices of straps available that you can purchase separately, including a Metal Gray Strap (RM129), a Braided Orange Strap (RM49), a Khaki Brown Magnetic Strap (RM99), a Cuban Chain Strap (RM69), and even a Smart Band pendant (RM99) which you can wear as a necklace.
The Xiaomi Smart Band 9 retails at RM199 and is available for purchase physically at Xiaomi Authorized stores. Alternatively, you can purchase it online at mi.com and on Xiaomi’s official platforms on Shopee and Lazada.
In conjunction with the Xiaomi Smart Living Showcase, the Smart Band 9 will go for a discounted price of only RM159, with a Mystery Gift to go with it while stocks last. The showcase will run from 15 – 18 August 2024 at Sunway Pyramid.
