What’s Great about the Redmi Note 10 series?

The Redmi Note 10 series offers a variety of options to choose from for a lower-midrange budget.

Regardless of whether you opt for the Note 10 or Note 10 Pro, you can rest assured that you’ll be getting your money’s worth.

Key Difference between the Redmi Note 10 and Note 10 Pro

It is important to note the key differences between the Note 10 and Note 10 Pro to better decide which device you should opt for.

1. The Processor and Memory

Snapdragon 678 vs 732G. Based on Nanoreview‘s ranking, the Snapdragon 678 is ranked #50 while the 732G sits at #37. The 732G outperforms the 678 in all areas including battery life, CPU performance and single-core performance.

In terms of ram, the Note 10 has offers 4GB / 6GB while the Note 10 Pro offers 6GB / 8GB. Gamers can definitely tap on the extra ram for a boost in overall phone performance.

2. Camera Set

Another area of significant difference is the built-in camera set. For avid photographers and videographers, this is probably a no brainer as the Note 10 Pro offers a much stronger camera set.

For casual users, do not worry! the 48MP main camera and 13MP selfie camera offered on the Redmi Note 10 is still a decent camera set that will still allow you to capture beautiful photos.

3. Display

Lastly, the Note 10 Pro offers a slightly larger display of 6.67″ vs 6.43″ with a display to body ratio of ~85.6% vs ~83.5%.

The more significant difference in the display is in its refresh rates. The Note 10 only offers a conventional 60Hz refresh rate while Note 10 Pro users will enjoy a much smoother experience with refresh rates of 120Hz.

In terms of touch sampling, the Note 10 caps out at 180Hz while the Note 10 Pro offers an improved 240Hz.

Final Thoughts:

Overall, we reckon that the Redmi Note 10 series effectively competes in 2 separate categories altogether. The Note 10 is a strong contender against budget devices like the POCO M3.

On the other hand, the Note 10 Pro is a strong contender in the mid-tier category against devices like the Poco X3 and Realme 7.

At current, it seems that Xiaomi has dominated all three segments of the smartphone market with great offerings that spread across the low to high tier smartphones.
