Xiaomi Mijia Washer Dryer Debuts in Malaysia with RM800 Off Launch Promo — Now RM1,499
Xiaomi Malaysia has officially introduced its new 2-in-1 laundry appliance, the Mijia Front Load Washer Dryer 10.5kg. The unit combines a 10.5kg washing capacity with a 7kg drying function, designed to offer an all-in-one solution for home users seeking convenience and fabric care.
At the core of its washing capability is a 525mm large drum equipped with a Power Wash system that mimics the motion of hand-washing. According to Xiaomi, this allows for a deeper clean while remaining gentle on clothes. Users can choose from 32 built-in programs, including a Quick Wash & Dry cycle that completes in 59 minutes, and a steam-powered Refresh mode to reduce odours and wrinkles.
For hygiene-conscious users, the machine includes a set of antibacterial features that combine high-temperature steam, drum cleaning, and a special design that claims to eliminate 99.99% of bacteria and viruses, along with 100% of dust mites. The washer also includes a nano anti-bacterial door gasket and automatic door spray rinsing to prevent residue build-up.
Smart home integration is available via the Xiaomi Home app, allowing users to control wash cycles remotely, receive status alerts, and activate functions like Refresh & Loosen — useful for preventing musty smells if clothes are left in the drum too long after a wash. The machine is also designed with quieter operation in mind, using fewer moving parts to reduce wear over time.
The Xiaomi Mijia Front Load Washer Dryer 10.5kg is available in Malaysia starting 8PM on 7 August at a retail price of RM2,299. Early adopters can purchase the unit at a limited-time early bird price of RM1,499 via selected official Xiaomi stores, mi.com, and Xiaomi’s official store on Lazada. Starting 14 August, it will also be available on Shopee.
Every unit comes with free delivery and setup in West Malaysia, a 2-year general warranty, and a 12-year warranty on the motor.
