Xiaomi 17 Ultra to debut in China on 25 December

Xiaomi has been teasing its flagship 17 Ultra for awhile now, and we finally know when it’ll debut. The Chinese giant has now confirmed that it’ll be launching the Xiaomi 17 Ultra in China at 7PM, Christmas Day (25 December).
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra’s design has also been revealed, with a massive circular camera bump prominently showing off the Leica branding. It’ll be available in three colour variants, with a black, white and green option. It also seems that the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will have three camera’s on the back, along with split volume buttons on the same side as the power button.

On top of that, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra is widely expected to have a 6.9-inch AMOLED display, along with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 system-on-chip. However, the star of the show will certainly be its camera.
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is set to debut the 1-inch OmniVision Light Hunter 1050L 50MP sensor with an f/1.67 aperture complete with Leica optics. It features Lateral Overflow Integration Capacitor (LOFIC) technology, an advanced camera sensor feature that allows for improved high dynamic range (HDR). As a result, you can expect significantly better low light performance with more detailed shadows.
