Microsoft Announces Price Increase for Xbox PC Game Pass in October 2025

To the detriment of Xbox PC Game Pass users, Microsoft has announced yet another price hike for the subscription service, which will take effect in October 2025. And yes, Malaysian subscribers will be impacted too.

It has only been a year since the last price hike, which saw the package increase from RM15 per month to RM20 per month. A year later, we’re set to see another hike that will raise prices to RM25 per month.

This price increase comes with no added benefits, and users will continue to enjoy the existing perks, including access to hundreds of premium titles, day-one access to new games, Riot Games benefits, EA Play membership, as well as member deals, discounts, and in-game benefits.

At the time of writing, the new prices are already reflected on Xbox’s official Malaysia page.
