Turn Your TV Room into a Light Show with WiZ’s New Sync Setup
Signify has announced a new TV entertainment lineup under its WiZ smart lighting brand, featuring the WiZ HDMI Sync Box with TV Backlight, the WiZ Gradient Light Bar, and the WiZ Gradient Floor Light. These new products are designed to enhance home viewing and music experiences by synchronising lighting with on-screen visuals and sound.
The WiZ HDMI Sync Box is built to capture video signals directly from HDMI devices such as streaming sticks, gaming consoles, or set-top boxes. Once connected, the device analyses the video feed and syncs the accompanying LED strip’s colours and brightness to match what’s happening on screen in real time. This creates a reactive lighting effect that enhances TV content.
The Sync Box supports HDMI 2.0 and video formats up to 4K at 60Hz, including HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. It comes with a 3-sided RGBIC segmented LED strip, suitable for mounting on TVs between 55 to 65 inches, and from 75 to 85 inches.
Beyond visuals, the device also includes a built-in microphone that allows it to respond to audio from any source, enabling music-sync lighting effects. It can be controlled via the WiZ app, the WiZ remote control, or through voice assistants such as Google or Alexa.
Users can expand the setup by linking the WiZ Gradient Light Bar and Gradient Floor Light to the Sync Box, creating a wall-washing lighting experience that extends the ambience across the room.
The Gradient Light Bar features a multi-colour segmented design capable of displaying several colours at once. Each bar can be managed individually, with adjustable placement options including horizontal or vertical setups. It can be mounted behind TVs or placed on desks and counters using included mounting brackets.
The Gradient Floor Light offers a slim, minimalist design with a multicolour segmented layout. Its wide beam angle allows it to fill the room with wall-washing light. Designed to blend into corners, the floor lamp provides plug-and-play functionality without the need for complex installation.
The WiZ HDMI Sync Box with TV Backlight is priced at RM499 for 55” to 65” TVs, and RM599 for the larger 75” to 85” size.
The WiZ Gradient Light Bar is available at RM359, while the WiZ Gradient Floor Light is priced at RM479. All products are now open for pre-order through JLL Electrical Sdn. Bhd on Shopee, as well as other major WiZ authorised retailers across Malaysia.
