1. Xiaomi Captures Largest Market Share in Q1 2021

Xiaomi is off to a great start having secured the majority smartphone market share in Q1 2021.

This came as no surprise as Xiaomi has been seen aggressively launching many new devices spreading across the budget to mid-tier and high-tier segments.

With the success of the Redmi Note 10 Pro and Mi 11, we believe Xiaomi is in a great position to continue dominating the smartphone market in the next few quarters.

2. Bill Gates and Melinda Gates Get Divorced

Bill Gates and Melinda Gates have publicly announced that they will be parting ways. The news came as a shock to many on May 3, 2021 as their marriage has always been seen as a stable and unbreakable bond.

Being one of the richest couples, building a meaningful and impactful Gates foundation and successfully raising 3 children over their 27 years in marriage, it is hard for many to understand what could possibly go wrong with the marriage.

This divorce will go down as the most expensive divorce in history, coming in at an estimated cost of US$127b.

3. PlayStation – Discord Partnership

Sony has invested in Discord and now holds a minority stake in the company. It is revealed that PlayStation – Discord integrations are currently in the works.
