2. Sony introduces the new Airpeak S1 professional drone

Sony fully reveals the new Airpeak S1 drone that was teased during the CES 2021 in January. With a price tag of US$ 9,000 (~MYR 36,000), this drone is built for professional filmmakers in mind.

The Airpeak S1 does not come with a built-in camera. Instead, users will have to invest in a specially built gimbal to be attached to the drone. With this gimbal, users will then be able to attach their Sony Alpha cameras to start capturing stunning shots.

Perhaps the most impressive aspect of the Airpeak S1 is its ability to remain stable in winds up to 44.7 mph (20m/s). This is double the capacity of the popular DJI Inspire 2.

The Airpeak S1 will officially be available for purchase this September.

3. El Savador becomes the first country to accept Bitcoin as an official currency.

El Salvador which previously only accepted US dollars as its official currency will begin accepting Bitcoins. This news comes after the proposal was passed by El Salvador’s Congress on Tuesday night.

It was a relatively decisive move with  62 out of 84 legislators voting for it. This change could potentially be great for individuals with no access to banking services.

Nevertheless, many remain sceptical about the change due to the lacking of access to technologies required to store or transact in Bitcoins especially for the lower class citizens.

4. DIZO Watch, GoPods and GoPods D now available.

Dizo is a new brand launched by Realme TechLife, the smart gadgets division late last month. As discovered by Amanz Network, there are now 3 DIZO products listed on Shopee which are the DIZO Watch, GoPods and GoPods D.

Based on the specifications of these products, it is clear that they are basically a rebranded version of the Realme Watch 2, Realme Buds Air 2 dan Realme Buds Q2 respectively. Nevertheless, the DIZO promotional prices are currently lower than the realme counterpart.
