vivo X300 Series Launches in Malaysia with 200MP ZEISS Camera and Pro-Level Imaging

vivo Malaysia has officially introduced its latest flagship smartphones, the vivo X300 and X300 Pro, as part of its 30th anniversary celebration. The launch highlights advancements in mobile imaging, processing power, and software integration, positioning the X300 series as contenders in Malaysia’s premium smartphone segment.
vivo X300 and X300 Pro

Both models feature a 200 MP ZEISS camera system, with the X300 Pro incorporating a ZEISS APO Telephoto lens and Ultra-Sensing Sensor HPB. The Pro variant also includes a 50 MP Gimbal-Grade Main Camera with CIPA 5.5-rated stabilization and a dedicated Pro Imaging Chip VS1 for faster image processing and noise reduction. The standard X300 offers similar imaging capabilities with slightly lower stabilization ratings (CIPA 4.5).
The front camera sees a notable upgrade to a 50 MP ZEISS wide angle lens with autofocus, while both models support the optional ZEISS 2.35x Telephoto Extender Kit for extended focal range and bokeh effects.

Videographers may find value in the 4K 120 fps Pro Video support across both models, with the X300 Pro offering additional Dolby Vision and 10-bit Log Video capabilities. Features like Stage Mode 2.0, Dual-View Stage Video, and AI Image Studio aim to streamline content creation, with tools such as AI One-Shot Multi-Crop and Live Photo Passerby Erase enhancing usability.
Dimensity 9500 and OriginOS 6

The vivo X300 series marks the Malaysian debut of OriginOS 6, vivo’s latest operating system built around Ultra-core Computing and Memory Fusion. It introduces features like Flip Cards for dynamic lock-screen customization and Origin Island for contextual reminders.
The vivo Office Kit supports cross-device productivity, while vivo Security consolidates privacy tools including hardware-level encryption and Private Space. vivo promises five years of OS upgrades, which may appeal to users seeking long-term software support.

Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip built on TSMC’s N3P process, the X300 series integrates a 12-core G1-Ultra GPU and an efficient NPU. Battery capacity stands at 6510 mAh for the X300 Pro and 6040 mAh for the X300, both supporting 90W wired and 40W wireless charging. The BlueVolt Battery System combines silicon anode and semi-solid electrolyte materials for improved reliability.
Display and Design

The X300 Pro features a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED display, while the X300 opts for a more compact 6.31-inch screen. Both offer up to 2000 nits peak brightness and advanced dimming technologies for eye comfort. The design includes a Unibody 3D Glass back with a coral velvet finish, available in colors like Phantom Black, Mist Blue, Halo Pink (X300), and Dune Brown (X300 Pro).
