A 6.3-inch Compact vivo Phone Might Be on Its Way to Malaysia

A new vivo X series phone is all but confirmed after being spotted in the SIRIM database. The vivo X200 FE is believed to be the brand’s compact variant, with leaks claiming that it will sport a 6.31″ OLED display accompanied by 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

Since this is the ‘lite’ model of the X200 Series, it is not expected to adopt the same powerhouse specs as its flagship siblings. Notably, the X200 FE won’t be powered by the Dimensity 9400, but rather by the Dimensity 9400e.

On the camera front, the X200 FE will emulate much of the X200’s array. That is, you’ll get a 50MP Sony IMX921 main camera and a Sony IMX882 telephoto with 3x optical zoom. The only difference here is that an 8MP ultra-wide lens will complete the system (vs. the 50MP ultra-wide on the X200).

That being said, it’s not all downgrades for the X200 FE as it appears it will be powered by a 6,500mAh battery – a sizable increase from the 6,000mAh on the X200 and X200 Pro. Charging, however, remains at 90W.

vivo’s 6.3″ X200 FE is set to join the exclusive ranks of premium small phones in Malaysia. It will face fierce competition, including the 6.2″ Galaxy S25, the 6.1″ iPhone 16, and the 6.36″ Xiaomi 15.

The vivo X200 Pro‘s camera impressed us massively when we compared it to the Galaxy S24 Ultra. With the X200 FE imminent, it just might make its mark against the Galaxy S25 as well.
