vivo V60 Brings Pro-Grade ZEISS Telephoto Lens and Long-Lasting 6,500mAh Battery
It has been barely six months since vivo launched the V50, and today, its successor has already been unveiled in Malaysia. Despite this, the latest iteration of the V series boasts incremental upgrades and a refreshed design that could make it more appealing.
The first major change comes in the form of the processor. The V60 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, a direct upgrade from the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 in the V50. The camera arrangement has also shifted to two large lenses placed vertically, with the ultra-wide and Aura Light modules positioned next to the lenses in a more subtle form.
On that note, vivo has expanded the camera array to include a telephoto lens. The V60 now shoots more flexibly with a 50MP ZEISS OIS main camera backed by the Sony IMX766 sensor, a 50MP ZEISS telephoto lens with the Sony IMX882 sensor, and an 8MP ZEISS ultra-wide lens. As for selfies, the front camera also receives the 50MP ZEISS treatment.
Another improvement is the increase to a 6,500mAh battery (up from 6,000mAh in the V50), while still retaining 90W wired fast charging.
Much of the display has remained the same, with the V60 featuring a 6.77″ AMOLED panel offering 2392×1080 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The only difference is that the local peak brightness has been bumped up from 4,500 nits to 5,000 nits. Other than that, it maintains its IP68 dust and water resistance rating.
TThe vivo V60 is available in three colors: Berry Purple, Summer Blue, and Mist Gray.
vivo V60 price in Malaysia
The vivo V60 is available in two configurations in Malaysia, a 12GB/256GB model retailing at RM1,999, and a 12GB/512GB variant priced at RM2,399. As an early bird promo, the latter model will receive a RM100 discount, bringing the price down to RM2,299. The vivo V60 can be purchased online at vivo’s official platforms on Shopee and Lazada, and offline at official retailers.
Additionally, an 8GB/256GB of the V60 is available exclusively online at vivo’s official website, and is priced at RM1,899.
