However, the Vivo V23 5G offers other captivating features than just its colour changing abilities. Continue to find out more about the Vivo V23 5G!
Vivo V23 5G: Specs and Features
The smartphone’s OS is the Android 12, Funtouch 12, and it is powered with the MediaTek Dimensity 920 5G Chipset. This chipset is on par with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 700. The Vivo V23 5G is also a dual nano-SIM smartphone.
Meanwhile, its CPU is an Octa-core, while the GPU is the Mali G68 GPU. However, the V23 5G only offers 12GB RAM and internal storage of 128GB.
With its OS, the Vivo V23 5G has lower power consumption and higher power optimization, ensuring the smartphone can last a whole day without charging. With the Dimensity 920 Chipset, the Vivo V23 5G can easily support any intensive gaming app.
Design and Display
The Vivo V23 5G is a sleek and modern smartphone with a rear panel using Fluorite AG glass back panel housing. It’s also adopted an almost flat-edge form like Apple’s iPhones. It has a slight curve where the display meets the back glass mid-frame. Its frame is made with aerospace aluminium which gives off a glittery velvet finish.
What’s more, Vivo uses colour changing glass where the rear panel changes from a bronze colour to a metallic blue when exposed to sunlight. However, this colour changing feature only works for the Sunshine Gold finish. The Moonshine Shadow doesn’t have the same effect.
The Vivo V23 5G’s dimensions are 160.9 x 74.3 x 7.4mm, weighing 172g. It has a 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution at a 20:9 ratio. Meanwhile, the stunning colour changing V23 also has a Full HD+ AMOLED display with 6.44-inch screen size. However, it only has a refresh rate of 90Hz.
Additional Features
The Vivo V23 5G has a triple rear camera with 64MP and f/1.8, 8MP and f/2.2, and 2MP and f/2.4. Meanwhile, the front camera is dual with 50MP and f/2.0, 8MP and f/2.28.
The rear camera comes in ultrawide, wide, and macro lenses. It also features dual-LED dual-tone flash, HDR, and panorama. It also offers a Super Night Mode to help you better capture pictures in the night.
On the other hand, the front camera comes in wide lenses and only has HDR. However, the Vivo V23 5G’s front camera is equipped with pixel isolation technology to capture more light and boost colour contrast.
Lastly, the video for rear and front cameras is 4k at 30fps and 1080 at 30fps.
The Vivo V23 5G comes with a single down-firing speaker instead of a stereo speaker and has no 3.5mm jack. The lack of the 3.5mm jack is the standard for smartphones, but the Vivo V23 5G comes with a USB-C adaptor.
A 4,200 mAh battery charges the Vivo V23 5G. Vivo also claims that the battery can charge from 1% to 64% with its 44W FlashCharge in under 30 minutes. The smartphone is equipped with fingerprint, proximity, accelerometer, compass, and gyro sensors.
The Final Take on the Vivo V23 5G
The Vivo V23 5G is an eye-catching and handsome smartphone. However, we can’t deny mid-range its performance, but remember that Vivo is offering the Vivo V23 5G at RM2,099. And so, considering its’ stunning design, above-average performance and affordable price tag, the Vivo V23 5G is an appealing smartphone.
