vivo launches V30 & V30 Pro, now with ZEISS lens
All the familiar features of the V-series, now with ZEISS lens in the Pro model & Aura Light 3.0
We are all familiar with vivo’s mid-range V-series which has been built with features for great portrait shots without breaking the bank.
This time, vivo has integrated their signature ZEISS co-engineered camera lens which was previously only found in their flagship X-series into the V30 Pro models. And a bigger sized Aura Light 3.0 is now available on all V30 models for even better portrait photos.
ZEISS powered triple camera at RM2599
The V30 Pro boasts 3 ZEISS lens and imaging technology, creating portrait modes such as Distagon, Planar, Sonar and Biotar to match the scene and lighting for the optimal portrait shot. With these modes, you can take professional looking photos easily as the tuning has been done for you.
There are 3 lenses in the V30 Pro back camera – a ZEISS Professional Portrait camera; a 50MP AF Ultra Wide-Angle camera and a 50MP VCS True color main camera.
The V30 does not lag behind in terms of its’ cameras – it also has a 50MP Portrait and main camera with professional bokeh mode, and Aura Light portrait video mode.
Aura Light Portrait 3.0
Aura Light 3.0 is now bigger to give better lighting to the subject or object. The warmness of the light can be adjusted based to suit the lighting conditions of the environment you are in. The advantage of Aura Light is that it is less harsh on the subject or object, giving that balanced overall output instead of the highlighting only 1 person or 1 item with the background colours not being captured.
vivo V30 battery & chipset
The V30 series packs a big 5,000 mAh battery for long lasting use and entertainment in a thin 7.45mm profile. vivo claims that the battery can last up to 4 years (defined as maintaining 80% charge after 1600 charging cycles) but we would like to caveat that this will based on individual usage and charging patterns.
The V30 Pro is equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chip while the V30 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. Both are respectable chipsets at this price point to ensure the smooth operation for up to 50months!! (no more lags!!)
