vivo announces price reductions on the V30 5G in conjunction with 10th anniversary
It’s been 10 years now since vivo has landed in Malaysia, and to mark the momentous occasion the brand is announcing price reductions on the vivo V30 5G.
If you can recall, the vivo V30 5G launched in March this year alongside the V30 Pro. Despite being the base variant of the series, it boasts a couple of unique features, including the Aura Light Portrait 3.0, and an iridescent Petals White design.
Now, just two months since the release, vivo is slashing the price of the V30 5G by RM100. As such, here is how the V30 5G will retail under the new pricing scheme:
- vivo V30 5G (12GB+256GB) – RM1,899 (previously RM1,999)
- vivo V30 5G (12GB+512GB) – RM2,199 (previously RM2,099)
To keep things brief, the vivo V30 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. It’s a fairly tall phone with a 6.78″ AMOLED display measured across, with resolutions going up to 1.5K (2800×1260). You’ll also have the benefit of 120Hz refresh rates and 2,800nits peak brightness.
The latest Aura Light Portrait 3.0 makes an appearance here, now with the added improvement of a Smart Colour Temperature adjustment feature. If you’re new to the Aura Light, this is essentially a built-in ring light to neutralize colour tones in order to make photos more natural.
On that note, the vivo V30 5G comes with a dual camera setup consisting of a 50MP main camera and a 50MP ultra-wide. Other noteworthy mentions is its 5,500mAh battery supporting 80W wired charging, and an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.
