Touch ‘n Go is no stranger to design collabs when it comes to their Charms, Enhanced NFC cards, and RFID tags. Now, the company has added newly-minted Pokémon Special Edition Charms and RFID tags to ther catalogue.

The Pokémon specials comes in two designs: one with the ubiquitous poster Pokémon fan favourite, Pikachu, and the other Gengar, the franchises’ adored ghost-type Pokemon.

The Pokémon Special Edition Charms cost RM35 per piece regardless of which version you choose, while the RFID tag will set you back RM40 for either versions as well. These are available for purchase at Touch ‘n Go’s official online shop, or on the company’s Shopee platform.

For those unfamilar, Touch ‘n Go’s RFID is an electronic toll payment system that automates payments at tolls without having to physically tag a card at a reader. It is linked to the user’s Touch ‘n Go eWallet account, with the toll fee deducted automatically.

The RFID tags should be fixed on either the left windscreen or left bumpber of the vehicle, and NOT on the headlamp as it is a violation of the Road Transport Department (JPJ) guidelines.

Touch ‘n go Charms, on the other hand, function the same was Touch ‘n Go Enhanced NFC cards. It is used as a cashless payment option at tolls, public transits, and parking lots. All TnG Charms have NFC capabilities which allow users to reload the charms via their Touch ‘n Go eWallet.
