Touch ‘n Go eWallet Now Lets You Pay for Fuel at Petronas via Setel Integration
Touch ‘n Go eWallet users can now pay for fuel at Petronas stations directly through the app, thanks to a new integration with Setel. This marks the first time users can pump petrol and earn dual rewards — both GOrewards and Mesra Rewards — all within a single app experience.
The feature works through the newly added Setel mini app accessible via the “PETRONAS via Setel” option in the Touch ‘n Go eWallet app. Once selected, users are directed to a simplified Setel interface, where they can key in the Petronas station location, choose their pump number, fuel type, and payment amount (in ringgit or litres). The process does not require a standalone Setel account, but users will need to grant a one-time authorization for Setel to proceed with fuel purchases.
As part of a limited-time launch promo, RM5 worth of Mesra points will be rewarded to the first 50,000 eligible transactions. This offer is valid for new Setel and Mesra users, as well as existing Mesra members linking their ID to Setel for the first time.
With this partnership, refuelling at Petronas becomes more seamless for millions of Touch ‘n Go eWallet users, removing the need to switch between apps or use physical cards at the pump. It’s also a convenient way for users to accumulate more rewards with every refill.
