Suunto introduces waterproof Aqua Light bone conduction headphones

By Timothy Teoh March 21, 2025

Suunto has introduced its latest waterproof bone conduction headphones, the Suunto Aqua Light. It joins the brand’s expanding catalogue of bone conduction headphones, including the Suunto Wing and Suunto Sonic.

However, the Aqua Light is the first in its range to offer waterproof qualities that make it suitable for watersports. Unlike the Wing and Sonic series which are IP67- and IP55-rated respectively, the Aqua Light features an IP68 waterproof rating. According to Suunto, this makes the headphones submersible up to two meters for up to two hours.

While the Aqua Light does have Bluetooth, it also includes 32GB of built-in storage as an alternative. Users can preload up to 8,000 songs, audiobooks, or podcasts from platforms such as Amazon and Apple Music. Audio content can also be managed in the Suunto App.

In terms of battery life, you can expect up to 10-hours of playtime on a single charge. Suunto claims the headphones will be fully charged in an hour, with a 10-minute charge giving three hours of playback.

The Suunto Aqua Light is priced at RM699 in Malaysia, and is available in two colours: Tidal Black and Reef Blue.

Interested buyers can purchase the headphones at Suunto’s official online platforms on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop. Alternatively, the headphones are also available at selected dealer stores including Solar Time, Y Sandal, LM Sport, and Syscom.

realme has offered a first look at its upcoming realme 14 Series 5G, which includes the realme 14 5G and realme 14 Pro 5G.

The realme 14 5G adopts a Mecha-inspired design, incorporating geometric lines created using nanoscale lithography technology. This design approach gives the phone a distinct, mechanical aesthetic. One of the standout features is the Victory Halo light on the back of the device. More than just a decorative element, the light activates during gaming sessions, charging, and for notifications and alarms.

The device will be available in three colour options: Mecha Silver, Storm Titanium, and Warrior Pink. While realme has not yet revealed detailed specifications for the realme 14 5G and realme 14 Pro 5G, more information is expected soon.

Alongside the first-look event, realme also announced its collaboration with Malaysian gamer Fariz “Soloz” Zakaria and esports team Team Vamos. Both have been appointed as the brand’s official Chief Gaming Officers, further reinforcing realme’s focus on gaming performance and the mobile gaming community.
