Still Undecided on the Switch 2? Test It Out for Free at LaLaPort BBCC This Weekend

If you’re still on the fence about whether to cop the new Nintendo Switch 2, a hands-on experience might just be the deciding factor. And no, we don’t mean pestering your friends who’ve already bought it on a daily basis.

LaLaPort BBCC is hosting a Nintendo Switch 2 Trial Event on the 2nd and 3rd of August, from 12PM to 8PM. You’ll find the event booth at the Main Atrium on the Ground Floor. Conveniently, the event falls on the weekend – so do pop by and give it a go.

The games available for trial include Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, along with demo booths for Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bonanza.

Prizes will also be up for grabs, with Pokémon and Mario visors and stickers available while stocks last. Based on the event poster, no pre-registration is required. You can drop by whenever you’re available, though be prepared for potential long queues.

As stated in the disclaimer, depending on crowd conditions, you may not get to try the game you’re hoping for. Still, with the event running for two days, it’s probably worth a shot to finally decide once and for all if the Switch 2 deserves a place in your gaming setup.
