1. Shopee for Student
Shopee for Student gives members three exciting benefits when you purchase from Shopee:

Registration
Signing up for Shopee for Student is as simple as filling up a registration form. Visit the Shopee for Student homepage and click ‘Sign Up Now’. Then, fill in your details (name, student email, image of student card, etc) and submit.
It will take about 3-4 working days to verify your application. Once successful, you will be notified on your Shopee app, after which you will officially be a member!
2. DirectD Student Support Program
DirectD is currently a running a Student Support Program which offers easy payment instalment plans if you are a student between 18 and 25 years old. You have the option to choose between 12-, 24- and 36-month instalment plans. This comprehensive program covers all products sold on DirectD that is between RM1,500 and RM6,000 (T&Cs apply).
There will be a small interest rate of 1.25% per month, but no deposit is required.
To apply for DirectD’s Student Support Program, simply visit your nearest DirectD outlet. Alternatively, you can send your supporting documents to any of these numbers via WhatsApp:
The documents you will need to apply is your MyKad and University Student Card. It will take approximately 1-2 working days for DirectD to verify your application. Approved applicants will need to pay a one-off RM100 agreement fee.

3. Chailease x DirectD PayLater
Alongside their Student Support Program, DirectD has another instalment plan option in collaboration with Chailease Berjaya. For this program, applications are open not just to students, but also to employees, self-employed professionals, and food delivery riders.
Loan tenure options for students goes up to 36 months, and 48 months for those who are not students.
You will have a whole catalogue of products to select from, including iPhones, Apple Watches, MacBooks; and selections from other brands such as OPPO, ASUS, and vivo, to name a few. Gamers will be happy to know that the ASUS ROG Phone 6 Series is an option.
Applications are only open to students who are Malaysian citizen, and age between 18-25. You will need to present a copy of your IC (front & back) and your physical student identity card.
Applying only takes four simple steps:
- Fill in information and complete application form
- Chailease will perform verification and credit assessment
- Applicants will receive notification when approved
- Successful applicants must visit store to sign agreement and pick-up purchased item
Students will be restricted to products RM4,000 and below. However, if you present your offer letter, semester fee paid receipt, and semester result, the limit cap will increase to RM6,000.
You can apply for the Chailease PayLater program by filling in this form. Applications are free, but do take note that there will be a RM110 processing fee upon approval. All applicants are required to apply for auto-debit before collecting your devices.

4. Samsung Student Offers
If you’re a big fan of Samsung, then you’ll be glad to know about Samsung Student Offers. This program offers exciting benefits to current or newly-accepted part time or full time students, as well as as employees of a Malaysian educational institution. To sign up, you must have a valid email address ending in edu.my.
If your application is successful, you will be entitled to
- Exclusive offers – more offers even during campaign days
- Free delivery within Malaysia with no minimum purchase requirement
- 0% interest instalment plans up to 24 months
- Trade-in option to save more on your new Galaxy
In addition to that, you will also get 5% off your first order under the Samsung Student Offers.
Samsung Student Offers extends to a wide range of products, including the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, Galaxy Watch5, and Galaxy Buds2 Pro. However, you are restricted to 2 products per category per calendar year, and delivery MUST be within Malaysia.
To sign up for Samsung Student Offers, you will need to have a Samsung account first. Once signed in, validate your education email address (ending with edu.my). A verification link will be sent to that email address to confirm your application.
