From Free Trials to Bundled Deals: sooka Expands Access With New Local Brand Partnerships
sooka has announced new partnerships with several well-known local brands to make it easier for Malaysians to access live sports and entertainment content.
Through collaborations with Maxis, U Mobile, Etiqa, Grab, MAE by Maybank2u, Sports Direct, Zus Coffee, and VIU, sooka is rolling out a series of offers and bundles aimed at increasing its reach and creating more touchpoints for users.
Maxis
New and existing Maxis Postpaid 139, 169, and 199 subscribers are entitled to six months of complimentary sooka Premium access.
Meanwhile, customers on Hotlink Prepaid RM55 Monthly Internet Pass, or Hotlink Postpaid 45/60/70 customers who add the RM9.90 Data 2X add-on, can get 30 days of sooka Sports & Entertainment access.
Other Maxis and Hotlink users can subscribe to sooka Premium at a discounted RM25/month (normal price RM50.90) or opt for the Super Streamer Add-on at RM15/month. These offers are valid until 31 January 2026.
Etiqa
Etiqa is offering all new and existing sooka users personal accident coverage plan worth RM10,000, valid for 30 days after activation. This is redeemable through the sooka app.
Etiqa customers also receive 10-day complimentary access to the sooka Sports & Entertainment plan.
The offers running until 13 January 2026.
U Mobile
U Mobile is introducing the U Home 5G x sooka Premium package, combining high-speed wireless broadband with sooka’s content service. This plan is available exclusively via the MyUMobile App and is currently ongoing.
Grab
Grab users can redeem a complimentary 14-day Sports & Entertainment plan from sooka using GrabRewards points, valid until 31 December 2025.
MAE by Maybank2u
Users who open a MAE Wallet via the MAE App and complete the onboarding process will receive a cash reward and a unique code to activate 14-day complimentary sooka access. This offer also runs through 31 December 2025.
Sports Direct
Sports Direct members who make a purchase—either in-store or online—are eligible for seven days of complimentary sooka Sports & Entertainment access, valid until 26 February 2026.
ZUS Coffee
ZUS Coffee customers can use their ZUS points on the ZUS Coffee App to redeem seven days of free access to sooka’s content, with redemption available until 13 December 2025.
VIU
Finally, sooka and VIU have launched a bundled plan priced from RM21.90/month, available for purchase on the sooka website. This offer is ongoing.
